Newly inaugurated State Representative Jeanne Ives (R – District 42) is pleased to announce the opening of her district office in Wheaton. In an effort to better serve their constituents, Senator Michael Connelly (R-District 21) will be sharing the space with Rep. Ives.
“We are looking forward to meeting the people we will represent in the General Assembly,” stated Ives. Therefore, on January 26, Senator Connelly and Representative Ives invite residents to attend an open house at their district offices, 1725 S. Naperville Rd., Suite 200 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
“I look forward to meeting as many of my constituents as possible in person,” said Ives. “I am humbled by and grateful for their belief in my ability to advocate for them in the General Assembly. As I step into my first term, I want those I represent to know that from the beginning, my promise has been to advocate for them – the tax-payers, families, businesses and organizations I represent – at every decision point. Now that the doors to our district office are open, I welcome my constituents’ participation in the legislative process. They know where I stand on the issues affecting our state, and I look forward to hearing their opinions and addressing their concerns. “
The open house is free and all are welcome.
